Core Membership Application

Thanks for your interest in joining the Goering Center!

Here's a brief overview of our two types of membership, so that you can know which is best for your company:

Core Membership: Core Membership is reserved for family and private businesses that are effectively controlled by a family, families, or an individual.

Family Business: Business in which two or more family members are employed in the business, share ownership, or are primary decision makers; the business family has majority ownership; and are not publicly traded.
Private Business: Non-related individuals own more than 50 percent of the company.

Note: Many firms and companies are not "family" or "privately-owned," yet they have an active interest in the challenges and needs of family and private businesses. These businesses are advisors to Core Members or provide products and services to them, if a Core Member makes this request. If this describes your business, then Associate Membership is for you.
