Business Boards Institute & BLUEPRINT  A head start on high-impact results

July 28, 2021, 8:00 - 9:30 a.m., Goering Center, Room 359

Advisory boards are game changers for family and private businesses, providing guidance on matters of strategic importance. However, not all businesses have a clear vision for success, strategies to get there, or defined metrics that help them keep score and measure performance. A board of advisors can help with that, to be sure. But, equip that board with a BLUEPRINT, and you have a head start on high impact results.

If 2020 taught us anything it’s that companies need to be able to pivot when not if there is a sudden shift in the marketplace. Unforeseen disrupters are everywhere demanding that businesses are at once focused and flexible, agile and aligned, in order to stay relevant. No one needs a strategy sitting on their shelf, but every business needs a BLUEPRINT a simple, clear, easy-to-communicate plan for eliminating roadblocks and executing on a growth plan.

Program Outcomes

  • Participants will understand how the Business Board Institute and BLUEPRINT programs can work independently, or together, to deliver high impact results for their businesses;
  • Learn how business boards operate, what makes them successful, who should participate, how to find board members, and details like how often they meet, the responsibilities of owners to their boards, as well as associated expenses;
  • Explore development of a BLUEPRINT for your business, what it equips you to achieve, who from your team should participate, as well as costs and time involved to develop.
